I like this guy Rob Meeker
of Leavittsburg, Michigan. He willingly puts himself into a situation where he
expects violence from people gathered to express the First Amendment of our
Constitution. Gatherings such as the recent Donald Trump rally in Chicago, as
reported by the Economist (March 19, 2016; page 26), that was cancelled after a
clash between Presidential Republican candidate Donald Trump and a large group
of anti-Trump supporters.
When asked in the Economist about “how [he] felt about the violence at Mr Trump’s rallies, [Rob Meeker] assumed the question related to Democratic protesters."
“I have my concealed carry weapon, so I’m not worried”
I lied, I don’t really like
this guy Rob Meeker of Leavittsburg, Michigan. Not only does he advertise
without discretion his use of a contentious extension of the Second Amendment;
but, he is completely missing the point of the intention the Founding Fathers
had in providing a well-armed militia for the off-chance that an American
government would send troops against the populace.
